Description Imobach González Sosa 2003-11-06 00:54:35 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.93)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc 3.2.3
OS: Linux

When I upgraded to KMail 1.5.93 (from KDE 3.2 beta 1), the SMTP sending stop working for
any SMTP server. If I tell KMail to send a e-mail, it only show me an error in the bottom of the main window that says: "Failed to send (some) queued messages".

I've tried to check the network traffice generated by KMail when I try to send a e-mail, and
it seems that KMail sends nothing.

I'm using Gentoo Linux and I've compiled KDE using Konstruct.

Thank you.

Are there probably some ghost messages (messages without subject, sender, date and contents) in your outbox?

You're right. There were some messages with and empty From: field. I've filled this field in those messages and it started to work pretty well.

Thank you.
