Yup, same here. If I activate "Desktop Menu Bar", nothing happens (why is this still there?). If I activate "Current application's menu bar", I get a bar in the top of the screen, but it starts flickering and takes 100% CPU. If I add a new child panel, and add the menu applet to it, and then chose current application's menu bar, it works fine. Most users might not get that however, and if no menu applet is detected, perhaps the user should be asked if a new panel with a menu applet should be created upon activating this feature. |
