Description Ben Lamb 2003-09-27 19:02:27 UTC
Version:           3.0.0a6 (using KDE 3.1.92 (alpha2, CVS >= 20030921), compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.2
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.21

Please could you add a button to close the current tab on the right hand side of the tab bar, i.e. just like the way Konqueror 3.2 CVS does it.
Thanks,
Ben.

I don't think this is a good idea. It uses too much space.
Just right click on the tab and select close.

kopete has it; konqueror has it.

It would be standard conforming...

I've recompiled the latest KDevelop from CVS and don't see a close current tab button, should I?
If the wish isn't going to be implemented the bug should be closed with WONTFIX not FIXED.
Best regards,

Ben.

Just let the mouse float oner the little KDevelop icon on the tab and it will transform itself into a close button.

Subject: Re: A Close Current Tab Button

Thanks for this. I've just tried it and can't it to work, I probably need to
update my CVS. Early versions of Konqueror 3.2 used to work like this.

Thanks again,

Ben.
