I don't understand why the external application should be able to check existing mail accounts. The external application shouldn't care about accounts because KMail will take care of this. I don't know what you expect. Of course, the external application has to show an error message if sending through KMail fails (for whatever reason). ad b) KMail could provide a wizard. But this is completely unrelated to your original wish (and IIRC there's already a wish for a wizard). Since it's already possible to send mail with KMail from external applications via DCOP I close your wish. |
