In mutli-head mode ... on the second screen the transparency doesn't work (it's the same for konsole) but works for transparent menu.

This is strange. They both work fine for me with my dual head NVIdia setup.

Regardless this is a KRootPixmap issue, suggest re-assignment.

[Jason Keirstead] Are you in xinerama configuration ? because I don't be in 
xinerama (I have 2 kwin instances). KRootPixmap maybe workd perfectly in 
xineram mode (nvidia mode ?). The strange thing it's that transparent menu 
workd ;-)
