Version:           0.7 (using KDE KDE 3.1.3)
Installed from:    Slackware Packages
Compiler:          gcc 3.2.2 
OS:          Linux

Just upgraded to Kopete 0.7 from 0.6.2-- immediately upon starting, I noticed that most (almost all) of my contacts were doubled.  I went about deleting the extra buddies, but some of them keep coming back.     Also, when chatting with one of these "doubled" contacts, Kopete tries to open two chat windows.  I'm using the OSCAR plugin exclusively.

I had the same problem when upgrading from 0.6.2 to 0.7.  There is a duplicate
of every contact in my contact list.
