Suggestion, make the drop down query the template list and display a list of templates to create the new event based off of. You could then create a template with the type of event and catagory pre filled and the drop down menu on the "new event" would be a "new event using template xxx" Also I would suggest adding the a menu with "new item" and "new item using template" to a right click on the calendar area instead of just duplicating the left click function of new item. Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created korganizer-devel mailing list. I agree with Comment #1, that the dropdown menu should be populated with the available templates. I came here to file a similar bug when I found this. |
