KDE 3.0 had the ability of making menus independent by clicking on the - - - - - - - line on top (or bottom, don't know) of the (sub)menu.
In KDE 3.1.1a and as seen on the screenshots also in 3.1.2 that functionality is missing.
I have not found any option in kcontrol to reactivate it.
Could you please reinclude it in the next version (at least as an option)?

Bug closed. Kdesktop is no more mantained.
