Subject: Re: simple killfile filtering only I second that. Please combine killfiling with a bozo icon in the message list. *** Bug 84265 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 46289 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Please mark Bug 63796 is a duplicate of this bug. *** Bug 63796 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 97008 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Yes agree. Right now it's not just complicated to set, it is also not usable as it is. We are recommended to lower the score for the author and filter negative scores. But we cannot select multiple filters and we most probably want to use the killfile with combination with any of the other filters. I really wish I could effectively killfile someone with a single click or keystroke. Just to many cranks and trolls around the Usenet. Similar to #27252. The reporter also wants to kill complete threads by trolls. I need in my subscribed newsgroups a killfile, too. It is so unusable to sort with ranking. And afterwards you have an output which is not sorted with date. It should be possible to sort first with ranking an then secondly with date! *** Bug 27252 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Bumping! This is something I really miss in KNode. I completely agree, knode really needs the ability to combine multiple filters and to have list and file contents matching (for buddy/troll, show/hide filters). e I agree with that. The lack of a linear killfile in knode is the only reason that make me use another news reader. Moreover, it would be great to add the ability to kill ("ignore", I mean...) not only unwanted people/articles but the whole subthread that they generate, just like one can do, i.e., in TB 3.0. This way you don't only get rid of trolls but you can ignore people that keep replying them also. Thank you for reading. Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. |
