Description Stevan White 2003-04-30 22:19:53 UTC
Version: 1.1.1 (using KDE KDE 3.1.1)
OS: Linux

Create a folder in Logical View

Select this folder, and create another folder. Give it a different name from the first.
--The second folder will now be contained in the first.

Now try to drag the second folder up to the Logical View level. It won't go.

Other items can be dragged out of a folder this way. Not folders. Why?

*** Bug has been marked as fixed ***.

It was indeed marked as fixed, but in the latest stable version 1.2.1 it still occurs.

Is it fixed in CVS? It would be good to say in what version to find the fix.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 57667 ***
Comment 4 Stevan White 2004-06-18 19:53:06 UTC
No, this is not a duplicate of 57667. The two behaviours are very different and probably unrelated.

Bug 57667 is about the location the "hot spot" for drag-and-drop.

This bug is about what kinds of items are allowed to be moved out of a folder.

Please remove the duplicate mark.

I tried hard to reproduce this - to no avail.
