Description Fran 2003-04-17 14:57:18 UTC
Version: 0.8.3 (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
Compiler: gcc 3.2.2 (Mandrake 9.1 final gcc-3.2.2-3mdk)
OS: Linux

I downloaded the Win2000 SP3 from Microsoft.com.
It takes 125 MB, and 100 MB were left. KGet said
"no space left". I made space, but the server does
not allow to resume the download. I have to restart it
from start.

I just want KGet to do this:
- before downloading, check there is space enough.
the user must be warned (cancel, retry, ignore)
- it would be good to have one more fiels in the
"download in progress" window, showing the CURRENT
free space left (the user can copy files after the
  beginning of the download)
- KGet could check for free space left every second, and
warn the user again (without stopping) if a problem is
  found.

It would just improve the quality of KGet.

Replaced fdbugs_kde3@partimage.org with datschge@gmx.de due to bounces by reporter

Good idea. I will put this on the KGet2 TODO list.
