Description Tarjei Knapstad 2003-04-09 18:57:42 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0.5)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs

Umbrello lacks support for Parameterized Class (Template) as defined in
chapter 3.29 (page 49) of the UML 1.3 standard.

This is a very important feature when doing designs for implementation
in C++ where templates are widely used. I'm a C++ developer myself and
this deficiency effectively renders Umbrello unusable for my designing
needs.

In the future this will also be important for Java people moving to JDK 1.5
where Generics will be introduced. See this page for more on this:

Parameterised classes have been supported for some time in the KDE CVS version.

Please report which version of Umbrello you are using.

Marked as invalid.
Thanks for your feedback.

I'm tried the 1.1.1 version, and tried to browse through the changlelogs etc.
for the CVS ones but couldn't find it was implemented. Sorry about the dupe
bugreport.

I'll try the 1.2 CVS version once I upgrade to RedHat 9 with KDE 3.1
