Description Jan Ekholm 2003-04-03 09:54:04 UTC
Version: 3.0.0a4 (using KDE 3.1.1)
Installed from: (testing/unstable)
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3 20030309 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-1

When adding new files to the project (such as using "New Class"), the "File Tree" view doesn't get updated to show the new file. Restarting Gideon of course does the trick. The bug #56475 is related to this, as there is no way to manually refresh the view either, thus making the "File Tree" view a bit hard to use efficiently.

Fixed in cvs.

I'm running KDE 3.2.1 and this behaviour still happens. To make matters worse, the "file group" plugin lists all files (UI, source, etc...) but the file tree stays untouched, whether new files are added or not.

In that case, open a new bug and provide the neccessary information. Such as KDevelop version, what language and what build system you are using.

Btw, how does the FileGroups plugin showing all files make things worse?

Forgive me but I failed to express myself. What I wanted to say was that the "file group" plugin lists the exactly same project files, even if new files are added or some files removed from the project or deleted.

OK, bug is reopened, but unconfirmed

There is still not enough information in this report after 8 months. Closing.

Open a fresh bug with the relevant information, if this is reproducible for you (like I suggested back in August).
