Description Peter Bounin 2003-03-26 10:22:36 UTC
Version: 4.0 (using KDE 3.1.1)
Installed from: (3.0)
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-686-smp

It's not a bug - it's a new wish item:

At least Opera has a feature to automtically reload a frame after a configurable
time. This would be a nice enghancement for konqueror too. Much more better
would be to be able to customize such a feature for web addresses. And much
much more better - of course - would be to have an scripting language to do
some kind "programing" the browser to do this or that.

But first of all:

Thanks a lot for such a great work!

Peter

P.S. I searched the documentation and faq (online) but didn't find any hint for such
feature. May be there is a link with information about an already existing
  implementation?

The subject sounds like the bug I was going to report but the contents dont...

I'd like to configure particular sites to allow "automatic reloading/refreshing" (ie.
http-equiv=refresh). The global option that's present in Konq from KDE 3.1.2 is nice, but most
of the time I want to allow page refreshes (since it's often used to redirect you to the "correct"
page). I really only want to block a few sites from doing this since they use it to reload their
pages continuously.

Does that deserve a new bug or does it fit with this one?

The ability to right click a tab and tell it to reload every X minutes/seconds/hours etc. would be awsome!

Dear user,

KHTML (and KJS) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6.

Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component.

We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes.

For security issues, please see:

https://kde.org/info/security/

Sorry that we did not fix this issue during the life-time of KHTML.

Greetings
Christoph Cullmann
