Description Simon Morlat 2003-03-11 16:53:32 UTC
Version: 2.2.1 (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

When playing an AVI file in full screen mode, I am completely unable to exit from full screen mode. The mouse pointer does not appear, the menu that appears usually when right clicking in windowed mode does not show, and the keyboard shortcuts to change window mode don't work in full screen mode.
The only way I found to recover this is to open a text console with Ctrl-Alt-1 and then kill artsd.
I guess that this problem is probably not directly related to noatun, but perhaps to arts or arts-xine, or perhaps even xine-libs. Kaboodle has exactly the same bug.
Thanks for your good work.

press escape.

known bug of the video widget.
Comment 2 Arnold Krille 2003-04-17 17:22:09 UTC
Perhaps a key f and/or m should be added to exit full-screen?

"Known bug" doesn't mean "Nothing to be done"...

The Ctrl+Shift+F accelerator that is there doesn't work either.

It works very well with kaffeine, probably others too.
