Description Martin Kiehne 2003-02-27 16:41:04 UTC
Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from:    Compiled From Sources
Compiler:          g++ 2.95.3
OS:          Linux

If I start acroread with a pdf file that is displayed in fullscreen mode, then the upper left corner of the fullscreen "window" is placed where the upper left corner of the acroread window would have been placed if the document did not request fullscreen mode. This problem only occurs on startup of the acrobat reader - after exitig fullscreen mode (Esc) and entering fullscreen again (Ctrl-L) everything works well. We are using acroread version 5.0.6. The problem could be reproduced on a machine running SuSE 8.0 with the SuSE KDE 3.1 rpms. The problem did not exist in KDE 3.0.2. An example of a PDF document requesting fullscreen mode can be downloaded from http://www.math.tu-clausthal.de/~inmk/fs_bug.pdf

Tough one. I changed KWin to guess correctly what Acroread tries to but fails.
