Hi,

there is a web page with such a header:

<META HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" CONTENT="300">

So the page have to be reloaded every 300 secs. Thats right. And while waiting those 300s the stop button still have to be red (for more details have a look at Bug 22790: "stop button is always red (on)" ).

Now the Problem: When pressing the stop button it turns gray. But after the 300s the page ist still being reloaded!

Fixed and backported to 3.1 branch so that any possible future 3.1.x will contain the fix. 
It is a regression that occurred in a recent commit.
