Description Linux Qa 2000-06-21 18:37:50 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: korganizer
Build: 1.91 (using KDE 1.91 Beta >= 20000608)
Severity: Wishlist

The text in each cell should be word-wrapped to avoid horizontal
scrollbars. If this is implemented (or if there is an option to turn it
on and off) then hte interface for the 31-Day mode will be much cleaner
and easier to scan.

This is still a problem with Korganizer 3.0. The scrollbars are _ugly_
and really detract from the interface.

Would it be possible to use customized scrollbars instead? Perhaps a
much shorter scrollbar maybe the same color as the cell background?

Bug #69447 talks about the same problem, and additionally wants wordwrap in the printout.
I'm closing bug 69447, and add the printing wordwrap to this report, too.

Cheers,
Reinhold

Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created
korganizer-devel mailing list.

Actually (3.5.8) there is no scrollbar on the month view. Long text are faded out.
Comment 7 Nicholas Sushkin 2007-12-11 13:31:31 UTC
I think this bug was closed by FiNeX improperly. The whole point was to change the display of each event from one line with fading to multiline with wrapping.
