Description Pupeno 2002-12-18 15:03:57 UTC
Version: 3.1 (using KDE 3.1.9)
Compiler: gcc version 3.2 (Mandrake Linux 9.0 3.2-1mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-16mdk

In the addressbook, when you create a contact, there's by default some address (Home and Work) and some phones (Home, Home/Fax, Mobile, Work and Work/Fax).
That's (more or less) ok. The problem is that when you remove it from a contact, they always come back when you reopen the contact, sometimes it doesn't matter, but sometimes it is very anoying, they should reappear.
Thank you
PS: I know some discution has been held about this (including a thread initiated by me, but I wanted to report it here for the record and remembering)

Hi Pupeno,

the bug in the address edit is fixed now by a redesign. The reappearing
types in the phone number input should stay IMHO. So we are consistent
with the MacOSX addressbook and Outlook I guess.

Ciao,
Tobias

The development of the old KAddressBook will be discontinued for KDE 4.4.
Since the new application has the same name, but a completly new code base we close all bug reports against the old version and ask the submitters to resend there reports against the new product.
