Why do you report this to KDE if you realize that it has to be fixed by the distribution? Because I didn't know *where* to report it! If KDE were *my* product, and users were frustrated or confused because of its behavior after installing a very popular distribution, *I* would want to know about it. If no one *here* wants to know that people are *still* having problems, then accept my apologies for bothering you. Being infinitely more knowledgeable about your product than I, what, exactly, would you suggest that I *say* to Red Hat? "Gee, uh, KDE's Konqueror doesn't work right when I..." They would direct me back here so fast my head would spin! In the end, it's no skin off *my* back. If KDE ends up being frustrating, I'll use GNOME. If enough other people feel the same way, then you won't ever be bothered by newbies like me again! Bruce. I'm sorry that you have this problem, but we cannot do anything about this. It's far beyond our control. You should file this bug report with RedHat. You have filed a bug with the programmers, when the bug is completely under control of the packagers. It would really be good if you could file this bug with RedHat though. |
