Description Andreas Drechsler 2002-12-01 10:46:05 UTC
Version: 2.0.0 (using KDE 3.0.3)
Installed from: Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker
Compiler: gcc version 3.2 (Mandrake Linux 9.0 3.2-1mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-16mdk

It seems that the hayes playlist (no other modules loaded) has troubles (noatun hang at 100% load) when it tries to access music files in a subdirectory which parent directory contains no music files.

Example to clarify: You have a directory "Band X", containing ONLY the subdirs "Album A" and "Album B". These subdirs contain lots of ogg-Files but the "Band X" dir itself contains only the two subdirs.

As soon as I copy one ogg file to the "Mr. X" directory, it playes fine. :-)

I'm using hayes-1.1.5 compiled from source.

Subject: Hayes hang

Do you have shuffling on?

thanks,
Comment 2 Andreas Drechsler 2002-12-05 20:08:11 UTC
Yes, shuffling is on.
Comment 3 Neil Stevens 2002-12-08 12:04:24 UTC
Does it also hang with shuffling off, too?
Comment 4 Andreas Drechsler 2002-12-08 17:02:03 UTC
I think no, I could not reproduce a hang with shuffling of while I could
reproduce a hang with shuffling on (not in every case though...).
