Version: 1.2.0 (using KDE 2.2-1)
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-98)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.7-10

I can play mp3 files on my linux box using xmms without any problem. When I try using KDE Media Player, it plays them, but at (according to my stopwatch) twice normal speed. How do I fix this?Another problem I face is that I can't use MP to open wav files. I'm not sure what kind of .wav files these are, I just know they are for speech data in the TIMIT database and that they have Sphere headers (whatever those are). xmms can't open them either though - both programs do nothing, not even giving an error message, when I open one of these files with them. I can send you a sample .wav file if you like.ThanksDino

Is this bug still there in a recent version of KDE, such as 3.5.8 or KDE4.0 RC2?
