Description F@Lk Brettschneider 2002-10-15 21:33:58 UTC
Version: 3.0 (using KDE KDE 3.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

The Gideon rpm package should be split in several rpm packages, at least each one for a certain programming language. This prevents me C++ programmer from installing many unwanted stuff and overhead (Java, PHP etc.).
For instance take a look at MS Visual Studio -> I wont be bothered with Visual Basic, if I install MSVC-6.0.

You might probably want to report this to feedback@suse.de or bugzilla.suse.de
(if you're a SuSE beta tester and know the password) . There's nothing we can do
about this, as it is SuSE that maintains the spec file / does the packaging (in
your case) .
