Description frank.dekervel 2002-10-14 17:00:24 UTC
Version: 1.2 Beta2 (using KDE 3.0.8 (KDE 3.1 beta2))
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19

i cannot hear beeps from a konsole session that is not currently visible (when i selected another session). the icon changes in a 'bell' icon, but i can't see that when i'm on another virtual desktop.

this results in not hearing notifications from stuff like talk and mesg.

the old behaviour (always beep) was better IMO

You can configure in HEAD/KDE 3.2 if you want a bell for hidden sessions or not.
