Description Sjoerd van Leent 2002-10-13 19:23:00 UTC
Version: 3.0.0 (using KDE 3.0.2)
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-4GB

When I start gideon, the only thing which I get is a small screen with the menu's File, Help and Window. There is only one Icon on the toolbar (open project), I the File menu I can't create a new project or whatsoever. I do not get a slpash screen.

I am using SuSE Linux 8.0, KDevelop 2.1 runs perfectly (I don't think they interfere)

Furthermore, I have put gideon in the /opt path.

I did run configure, make and make install, with no errors nor serious warnings.

Gideon cannot find the plugins. Don't install it in the /opt path but in the
path where KDE is installed, in your case /opt/kde3. Gideon and KDevelop 2.x
won't interfere.
