(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: noatun
Version: 2.0.0 (using KDE 3.0.3 )
Severity: crash
Installed from: Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker
Compiler: gcc version 3.2 (Mandrake Linux 9.0 3.2-1mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-7mdk
OS/Compiler notes:

Hi.

Noatun doesn't play my mp3s for some reason. If I hit the play button nothing happens.....
The button gets "pushed" for like two seconds and then revert to original state and the playlist goes to the next entry.
I have sound in all other programs.

Good work( not that I can enjoy it at the moment though :)

Probably the result of using Cooker. Please report bugs in development
distros to the distro itself.

I have the same error in Gentoo with KDE v.3.0.3 and v.3.0.8 (beta2).

Now it work !! In Gentoo, you have to use just "-march=athlon-xp -O2 -pipe" CFLAGS. Maybe the same thing had happen in Cooker for Mandrake.

Sound works in all other applications, except noatun... I'm using Debian, Sarge on a DELL Optiplex GX-1. It has a CS4236 (Crystal) sound chipset. Can't figure out why it's not working.
