when I start up kdevelop it shows me first the tip of the day. The window of that tip is exceedingly wide. It's about 150%-200% as wide as the physical screen. My resolution here is 1024x768 so nothing unusual.

Do you use Qt 3.0.5? If you don't use it ;-) but 3.0.4.

Yes I do. Unfortunately have to. I'm bound to use qt 3.0.5 unless I want
to recompile all of the Debian KDE3 packages which I'm not eager to do.

The other tip windows seem to work though...

So does that mean that I'll have to live with it to the day a future
kdevelop version will be released? In that case - oh well I can wait :-)

Qt bug which is fixed in latest snapshots.
