(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kdesu
Version: KDE 3.0.6 CVS/CVSup/Snapshot
Severity: normal
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc 2.95.3
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

Sometimes when I start a program from the commandline with kdesu it will pop up (after entering password ofcourse) and then imidately close down again. No error messages are reported on the console.

I've been testing with running "kcalc" and "konqueror" with kdesu like this:

bash-2.05$ kdesu -n -c kcalc
bash-2.05$ kdesu -c kcalc

bash-2.05$ kdesu n -c konqueror
bash-2.05$ kdesu -c konqueror

Sometimes it works great and sometimes not. It /seems/ to work right more often if I leave out the "-n" option but that's very subjective as I have not counted anything.

/Jesper Juhl

With KDE 3.2beta2 I'm no longer able to reproduce this bug, so closing.
