I am the Debian maintainer for KDevelop. I received the following bug report and I found that it is still applicable to KDevelop 2.1 RC3.

At least the C template creates a linuxdoc docfile.  Linuxdoc is an obsolete format.  Even the LDP now uses DocBook.
