Description Richard Gladman 2016-05-03 07:53:58 UTC
.xsession-errors fills up with a constant stream of

networkmanager-qt: void NetworkManager::AccessPointPrivate::propertiesChanged(const QVariantMap&) Unhandled property "LastSeen"

to the point I have to run a truncate command every couple of hours to stop it getting out of hand.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log in
2. Wait a couple of seconds
3. Examine .xsession-errors

Looks like networkmanager-qt in Ubuntu was build against older NetworkManager version which got then updated. You should report this to your distro packagers and ask them to rebuild nm-qt to enable new features/properties from latest NetworkManager.

Don't force logging with setFilterRules

Don't set the logging rules from inside the library, so the user
configuration (qtlogging.ini) is respected.
