(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: konsole
Version: KDE 2.2.1
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

It would be great :

If an addition toolbar would be available which could show :

Current Working directory and current user

and have customizable buttons which user could assign scripts or shell commands. For example personally I would add buttons for :

- Shell command : env | grep MYAPPSETTING
- Shell command : unsetenv PFNOTIFYLEVEL
- Shell command Bookmarks for ~ ~/Projects/MyFrequentWork /tmp
- Internet Browser like : Back Forward for directory navigation.

I am sure that this would definitly add more power to the konsole for people like me who use the console a lot for navigation.

Really old wish list; you can do these things via Sessions and/or Bookmarks.
Also your shell can do these things via aliases, etc...
