(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kcontrol
Version: v2.0 (using KDE 2.2.1 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

I use country (se) language (sv) and keyboard (se) (for Sweden).
All signs - Ã¥äö - etc come out correctly except for the numerical decimal comma which renders a point (".").
The "normal comma" key works as it should.

According to Swedish standards (also displayed under the Control center language tabs) it should be a comma ("").

I have the same problem using KDE 3.0.5. from the unoffical woody packages
for debian.
I'm using the german language environment.
IN the console (using strg+alt+F3 e. g.) it's working correctly and also
under vmware 3.1 using wn2k.

I have upgraded to KDE 3.0.3 and the problem remains for Swedish settings.
Quite annoying when using the numerical keypad in spreadsheets...

As far as I know, the point is commonly used for non-decimal systems such as
yards, feet and inches. The metric SI-standard uses the decimal comma.

It is soon a year since I entered this bug. I would highly appreciate if
somebody could fix it.

KDE 3.1.1+
Qt 3.1.2
XFree86 4.3.0

and swedish locale, this now works as it should - the keypad produces a comma.
