It would be nice to have more options in the pop up menus on the directories on the "view on project directory".
I think that there can be a make option so you make just one directory (sometimes you don't want to make a complete make) and this options could be for files too so you compile just a file but I this can be done in some other way.
Maybe you can do this configurable so anyone can add some options to this menu. When you add an option to this menu it should be posible to make this action depend in the existance of a file inside this directory (so running make depends on Makefile) and maybe the posibility to pass the diretory as a parameter to that program.

I think this is available in KDevelop 2.1.5 
But it's not implemented in kdevelop3.0 (yet)  :)

The "make" on a single directory is also available on KDevelop3 A4. 
Select te directory in the autpmakemananger, or in the Qmake manager and click 
"build selected subproject" or something like that.
