You should be able to rearrange the tabs by dragging them around with the mouse. This is possible in other tab-based KDE applications like dolphin.

I'm happy to implement this, but it may be a month before I have time to do it. It's really just one line of code, but there are a few other tab improvements I'd like to do at the same time.
