Description Michael 2013-10-01 20:30:59 UTC
Anything that I change in the Configure Your Desktop Application is lost after reboot. That includes my default programs, and display preferences... I use a dual monitor display and I change them every time because the system default is a unified setting. I use chrome for the internet and every time I restart the system firefox goes back to the default browser. There are a hundred things like this within the application that don't save between sessions.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Restart The Computer
2.The End
3.
Actual Results:
The same problem

Expected Results:
Saved my defaults

For the display settings, please use the new KScreen software. As for the other issues they do not happen here, and I suggest to ask in a forum what might be wrong with your setup (permissions, certain distribution scripts that restore wrong settings, etc.)
