(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: konsole
Version: 1.0.2 (using KDE 2.2.0 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.7
OS/Compiler notes:

I am using SuSE 7.2 here and tried to user yast1 within konsole. When pressing F2 the current open yast window closed as if I pressed F10; I expected to get a package description instead. xterm does fine.

For the moment you can use Ctrl-f '1' for F1 and so on in Yast1.

For the moment I use xterm when I need function keys... but for every day's
business I use konsole because I like that transparent background feature.
:-)

BTW is it possible to have the real background here I mean to see windows
which are hidden by konsole?

Cheers
Olaf

Selecting "Xterm (Xfree 3.x.x)" as keyboard setting and saving that should
help you out with the keys.

Not at the moment. It might be possible using X's RENDER extension.

Cheers
