(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kdmdesktop
Version: unknown (using KDE 2.2.1 pre)
Severity: normal
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.2.18
OS/Compiler notes:

I have about half my icons on the left edge and the other half on the right edge. all are horizontally centered above each other. When I logoff and log back on the desktop module loads with the correct placement but the last module or at the end of the desktop module (the icons that represent things on the startup dialog box) the icons are shifted so that they appear right justified to the location where the icons originally were.

Does this still happen with KDE3?
If so, can you send your ~/Desktop/.directory file?
