Hi,

Here is a bug reported on the Debian bug tracker system:

it seems that sometimes the klipper icon disappear, but klipper is still running. Several people reported to be impacted.

Which KDE version? Klipper appears fine here (KDE from master).

Hi,

People claims to be affected from version 4.6.3  to version 4.8.4 (the latest version of KDE in Debian).

Hello,

this bug is pretty hard to reproduce. On one of the machines it happens regularly, but it's not predictable, on another it doesn't come up at all (both KDE 4.8.4). If there is any logs/debug info somewhere, please let me know how to view it. I'm also going to be absent from the machine that has problems for approximately one month, but after that I would gladly provide any additional information.

Klipper's icon disappeared from the panel, along with the USB action icon in KDE 4.8.4 on Wheezy.

In addition, it became non-functional when called from the Menu.   This also happens on Aptosid Hesperides (Jessie).
