Description Gregor Petrin 2012-04-30 06:25:53 UTC
Several days in a row now, when I come to my work computer I am greeted by numerous (maybe 20) popup windows that the Twitter server has failed the authenticity check. One should be enough until I choose my course of action.

After dismissing the popup there came literally hundreds of messages in the notification area saying things like 'Timestamp out of bounds' or 'Not authorised' - I presume they were the result of me now dealing with the server authenticity problem. It took several minutes for the message area to stop displaying messages and generally slowing down my system (this could actually be reported to the system area team - if multiple messages with the same content appear in a short time the user should be given the chance to ignore them).

Please let me know if I can provide more or more specific info, I'll help however I can (though the Twitter certificate situation is hard to reproduce, but it does seem to be happening in the last few days).

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make Twitter server certificate change
2. Watch.
