OS: MS Windows

GNUPGP supports RSA 4096 bit key size. Could you please allow your application to support the creation of 4096 bit RSA keys as well. It would add signifiganty more protection

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Everytime generate keys

Expected Results:
Should have an option for 4096 bits

OS: Microsoft Windows (i686) release 6.0 (Vista Professional)
Compiler: i586-mingw32msvc-gcc

I'll look at this issue for current Kleopatra and Gpg4win.
Comment 2 toxygen 2013-07-19 09:41:53 UTC
I second the request. It's really uncomfortable to use command line to create 4096 key only because this option is not available in Kleopatra.
Comment 3 Andre Heinecke 2013-08-19 14:03:06 UTC
Git commit 496f8fbc70bcc76cb1f97fea4a9244d4f86cff38 by Andre Heinecke.

Pushed by aheinecke into branch 'KDE/4.11'.

Allow 4096 bit RSA / ELG keys

While still a bit long, this opion has been requested
repeadedly and gnupg offers it in the default gen-key
    menu nowadays.
