Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.8.0)
OS: Linux

Upgraded KDE to 4.8 (on openSUSE 12.1) from OBS. Power Management is configured to hibernate on laptop lid close. Prior to the upgrade to 4.8, it worked. After the upgrade, closing the laptop lid has no effect. Manual hibernation still seems to work.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Close the laptop's lid.

Actual Results:
Nothing.

Expected Results:
Laptop hibernates.

I'm confirming this problem on an Asus 1201T netbook and KDE 4.8 (ArchLinux).

On KDE 4.7.x it worked flawlessy.

Confirming this in Kubuntu. Same happens when suspending to RAM. Power devil is not managing this event.
