Description Egbert van der Wal 2012-01-22 10:53:03 UTC
Version: 2.4.3 (using KDE 4.7.3)
OS: Linux

I am trying to play songs of a NetGear ReadyNAS Duo DAAP share. I can browse the songs (although I did have to remove the password of the DAAP server for it to appear in Amarok at all, but that is a different issue), and I can play them if I manually start them.

However, if I create a playlist and one song ends, it will not automatically start the next song. I have to click the Play button again (which is actually a Pause button at the moment I click it).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Add songs from DAAP server to playlist, start one and let it finish.

Actual Results:
The music stopped, but the Play/Pause button remains a Pause button, and the progress bar/time counter is at the start of the line (at 0:00).

Expected Results:
The next song should start after the first one completes.

Default Kubuntu 11.10 configuration.

The exact same behavior does work when playing local files. So it must be related to DAAP in some way.

Confirmed. Might investigate when I find the time.

Hm. There already is a bug report about this...
