From the "Projects" sidebar one is allowed to open files with custom applications via "Open with" context menu. After choosing an application, KDevelop asks if I want to remember that choice. Selecting yes makes KDevelop always use the chosen application and there is no way to configure this.

Note from irc: apaku|work notes that its still not good to have configuration-settings without providing a GUI. i.e. either the open-with should adjust the file-associations or it should have its own GUI to configure the setting it uses to store the default.

Reproducible: Always



Expected Results:  
A config UI to be found.

Afaik yes, it is still open :) I'd suggest joining #kdevelop on freenode and asking around (maybe KDevelop guys can tell you who to ping directly?)
