(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kcontrol
Version: KDE 2.1.1
Severity: normal
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
Compiler: Redhat 7.1
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: KDE Libraries 2.1.2 are installed

It is not possible to change keyboard layout when lock screen is active. If one uses a temporary alternate keyboard layout it becomes impossible job to type in your password. Generally the keyboard layout should fall back on the main kayboard when screen locks (this was the behavior with KDE 1.x). Many thanks.
