1) Show the existing installed version of a package in a separate column
2) Show the installation source repository of each package.  

Since you asked on your blog what I meant by 2), consider this case: The user has multiple repositories that provide the same package registered, therefore he is interested to know if the newest version (by version number) comes from for example "official-kde-release" or "wills-experimental-patches" repos.
