Description Kai Uwe Broulik 2011-10-03 13:49:50 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.1)
OS: Linux

My new keyboard has a Calculator key that is recognized by KDE as "Launch (1)" (german "Starten (1)") but the assigned keystroke (I'd like to use it for displaying the dashboard, as the calulator looks like a grid to me :P) does not work.
It doesn't matter whether I assign it to "Show Dashboard" action in Plasma Desktop or add a "Run command" global shortcut triggering the dbus call.
The other keys such as E-Mail and Home are correctly recognized and also were correctly assigned with the respective program.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Have a keyboard with a Calculator key that is recognized as "Launcher (1)". It is a Microsoft Wireless Desktop 800 but others definitly have something similar.
Assign this key as a Global Shortcut for any action.

Actual Results:
Nothing happens when pressing that key.

Expected Results:
The assigned action should be triggered.
