Created attachment 62811 [details]
please observe the space between K button and firefox task button

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.0)
OS: Linux

The add a Launcher to panel, thingie has bug in it; firefox 5 even though not added as a launcher button, takes space (without icon) on the panel.

I have set firefox 5 as my default browser; and everytime I login, the dolphin and firefox 5 (invisible) button is presented there.

Please see the attachment.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
set firefox as default browser (when firefox asks for it)
login afterwards, and there comes the invisible buttom for firefox5 launcher.

Expected Results:
The launcher behavior should be user friendly, i.e.,

add remove behavior of launchers should be intuitive and clear.

Forced launchers for dolphin and kfmclient on panel should not be there when removed, just like the most hated ugly persistent cashew/desktop plasma widget in KDE workspace, which serves a purpose nothing more than right-click on the desktop or panel to add a widget.

OS: Linux (i686) release 3.0-ARCH
Compiler: gcc
