In KDE 4.7 the calendar widget got a rewrite. Can you try out the new version? That's the same in kde 4.7.3. I do agree, I'm always looking for the current day because of this. I'm running 4.7.2 on Debian Sid and the blue square is still on the calendar, not moving, not doing anything. Git commit d5d5c587ecf33a401a0f0ec8f639afe3128d1c7c by Aaron Seigo. Committed on 08/12/2011 at 11:22. Pushed by aseigo into branch 'master'. swap today/selected highlights BUG:276364 M +- -- desktoptheme/air/widgets/calendar.svgz http://commits.kde.org/kde-runtime/d5d5c587ecf33a401a0f0ec8f639afe3128d1c7c While I appreciate the attention and I think the swap is a good start, couldn't we just get rid of the Selected Date thing? I don't see its benefits that a mouse-hover couldn't do better. |
