Description Simon 2011-06-04 18:40:27 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.3)
OS: Linux

When pressing the «Open with» button on my laptop, usually the Facebook export opens. This happens when slightly moving the cursor (which is often the case on laptop touchpads) while clicking the button. Here I click (with slight mouse movements), release the button, and perhaps after 0.2 seconds the facebook export opens. The huge list does not even show up.

Reproducible: Always

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.38-1.towo.2-frickel-amd64
Compiler: gcc

I guess that is because "Export to Facebook..." happens to be at the bottom of the list so its position is quite close to that button, and the slight movement of cursor might choose that entry accidentally.

I can confirm this. It also happens to me. That's why I apply extra care when clicking the button. It does not help every time, though.

One solution to this can be this https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/123342/ which reduces the number of menu items. Then the menu will not be overlapping with the button.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years and I will be closing this bug. Spectacle is the replacement for ksnapshot now. Please test again and file a new bug for Spectacle if you still have issues. Thank you!
