I woulid like to be able to set the sort option to CASE SENSITIVE and not to have to redo it every time I open a window because it simpler to follow if it's CASE SENSITIVE as it's the standard for Linux and most Unix base OS

I can confirm this. Save view profile doesn't save this preference and there is no 
kcontrol option for it either.
